Who Should Apply?

The Board of Advisors is reserved for those already invested in the mission of the DCLBA. All applicants must be current, active members of the Alliance before applying for consideration.

We’re seeking bold thinkers, trusted connectors, and committed doers who are passionate about supporting local business. Ideal candidates include:

• Business owners with a strong community presence
• Professionals who actively participate in local government or boards
• Advocates for entrepreneurship and small business growth
• Leaders who believe in local-first economic policy

What Does the Board of Advisors Do?

The Board of Advisors plays a pivotal role in shaping the direction of the DCLBA. Each advisor will represent a geographic area of Douglas County and act as a bridge between local businesses and our leadership team.

• Represent regional voices — from Castle Rock to Highlands Ranch and everything in between
• Report on business and community issues in their area
• Provide strategic feedback, insight, and recommendations
• Help identify advocacy priorities and policy opportunities
• Guide community engagement, partnerships, and events
• Ensure member needs and concerns are heard and acted upon
