The Douglas County Local Business Alliance™ was born out of necessity — not politics. Our small, independent businesses were being pushed out of decisions that directly affected them. DCLBA gives local business owners a powerful voice at the table — from signage and zoning to permitting and planning. We’re not a chamber. We’re not government-funded. We exist to protect and empower Main Street.
Our strength is in numbers. The DCLBA operates as a cooperative voice for local, independent businesses. Together, we amplify our influence and protect the interests of Main Street—not Wall Street.
We believe an informed community is a powerful one. Through campaigns, events, and partnerships, we teach consumers the long-term value of supporting local over corporate chains—keeping dollars and decision-making close to home.
Struggling with zoning, signage, or permitting? We work directly with policymakers and authorities to advocate for fair, local-first outcomes— ensuring your voice is heard and your business can thrive without unnecessary red tape.
